WHAT IS S.O.A.P?

S.O.A.P is a simple acronym, which stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.  Using these four letters, we can help ourselves understand and apply what we read in the Bible on a daily basis.

HOW DOES S.O.A.P WORK?

Each day, as you approach your Bible reading look for these four things:

S - Scripture - What are one or two verses from this reading that you plan to focus on.  Write them down if it helps you remember.

O - Observation - What do you notice is happening in this scripture?

A - Application - How can you apply what God is saying to your life right now?

P - Prayer - Talk to God.  Ask for help in applying it to your life.

This simple method will help you focus on reading, understanding, and applying what you read on a daily and weekly basis!
